Marker (2007) ~ Seagal mit TRAILER!!!
Auch wenn hier die meisten, inkl. freeman eine negative Einstellung haben, folgende Mitteilung:

beleive it or not it was a pirate dvd sold on the streets of spain by highly dubious people who had all the cinema releases out; the artwork was wrong as it had a pic of henriksen circa aliens 3 and seagal circa exit wounds and it also had slightly out of sync sound and fuzzy sound quality being a pirate.
it is a very high quality picture shot very nicely, there is more dialogue than ever Seagal does his best impression to act but doesnt come off all that well (theres only so much he can do) at times he is really into it and other times zones off, his performance is a mix between renegade justice and flight of fury-NO DUBBING except for maybe a few shouts over gunfire and explosions.
Lots of car chases, things getting blown up and cars skidding and people getting thrown around-there is a magnificent shootout at the end (about 15 minutes long) that is the real climax of the movie. fight scenes well they start of dissapointing (over in seconds) but towards the end become more frequent and are brutal-they are also shot well and seagal definitely looks thinner.
acting is excellent, calderon like eddie griffith steals the movie and henricksen is brilliant as usual, in fact the whole cast is good and the film is shot well and looks more expensive than it is. marker wouldnt have fit as a title and pistol whipped is more appropriate because he does pistol whip a major character. locations are good, the film is sunny and not dark and if seagal was thinner this could have been a theatrical product.
doubles only for behind the shoulder shots and during explosions when he jumps to duck behind a car and also a car is moving fast and he is hanging onto the side while shooting-but these are dangerous stunts so ud expect it
Hört sich also richtig cool an. Freu mich drauf. Scheint ja mal was hübsches geworden zu sein.not so much explosions, more cars crashing and turning over and bursting into flames that sort of thing. lots of shootouts and theyre shot in the standard way they do them these days, fast edits that sort of thing.
what makes the film good is the non european location the use of good US actors (Calderon is really good) and the storyline. the action itself (except the ending) isnt particuarly memorable, its standard-its these other factors that make the film as a whole really good

Stimmt, aber wenn der Film ansonsten wirklich gut ist, könnte man da noch drüber hinwegsehen.kami hat geschrieben:Der Trailer sieht gut aus, auch wenn Seagal offenbar wieder eine viel zu junge Liebschaft hat.
Hoffen wir, dass es ein guter Film wird. Die Action und vor allem die Optik scheint aber wirklich ziemlich gut zu sein.
