Nottingham (Crowe & Scott)

Ridley Scott is set to direct Russell Crowe in the Universal Pictures drama Nottingham, which Brian Grazer is producing for Imagine Entertainment, reports Variety.
Universal earlier bought the spec script by Ethan Reiff and Cyrus Voris, creators of the Showtime series "Sleeper Cell." Crowe was attached at that time.
Crowe stars as the Sheriff of Nottingham in a revisionist take on the Robin Hood tale, with Nottingham as a noble and brave lawman who labors for a corrupt king and engages in a love triangle with Maid Marion and Robin Hood.
Production will start next year.

Schmuh? Der Film ist sehr gut, 8/10 auf jeden fall.
Ich sehe der Nothingham verfilmung skeptisch gegenüber, an Costners Robin Hood kommt der sowiso nicht ran, is und bleibt die beste RH verfilmung

Sehe ich auch so zumindest bis heute, allerdings hat Gladiator auch die Sandalenfilme neu erfunden, möcht ich fast sagen...also mal sehen!

Jo bin auch gespannt, vorallem der Crowe ist nen Ausnahmetalent, der könnte der zichfach verfilmten Story wieder ne ganz andere Marke aufdrücken imo.

Ich denke mit Russel Crow kommt das ganze nochmals auf eine ganz neue Ebene. Ma schauen was daraus wird 8-)
