Hilarious Story About Jean-Claude Van Damme In 'Predator'!!
It’s no secret to hardcore fans that JCVD was the original Predator in John McTiernan’s 1987 horror classic. He allegedly left during filming to go work on Bloodsport.
While there aren’t tons of stories, and only one or two pictures to my account, Stan Winston School just posted this whopper of a video with Makeup FX innovator, Steve Johnson (Ghostbusters, Species, Blade 2) who shares the inside story on what went wrong with the original Predator suit, worn by a aspiring action star Jean-Claude Van Damme.
Not only do they share some previously unseen variants of the costume, but you’ll see JCVD running around in a red suit that he thought was the actual creature costume. This shit is HILARIOUS.
