But the other film and the one he plans to start shooting this March came as a major shock to me because the movie is about William Shakespeare. For those that don’t know Emmerich also directed “Independence Day” and “The Day After Tomorrow” so this is a major shift for him. The film is called “Anonymous” and he planned to make the movie back in 2005 under the name “Soul of the Age”. This new script is by John Orloff (”Band of Brothers”, “A Mighty Heart”) and Emmerich says it’s his next movie.

Auch wenn der Film keinen Wide Release in den USA hat, liegen die Einspielergebnisse nach 1 Woche bei sage und schreibe 1,3 Mio $! Ich frag mich immer noch, was den Roland dazu geritten hat.

Hat aber gute Kritiken bekommen - und der Trailer sieht im Grunde besser aus als alles, was er bislang je verbrochen hat, zumal die Materie auch interessant ist. Ich find seine "Entwicklung" gut! 8-)

Viel schlechter als durchschnittlich habe ich bisher auch noch net gelesen. Selbst die, die sich voll gebasht fühlen, weil ihr Shakespeare verleugnet wird, attestieren dem Drehbuch sogar sowas wie Intelligenz ... Wird in jedem Fall mal goutiert!
