The Karate Kid director Harald Zwart will direct Bakugan for Universal Pictures, ComingSoon.net has confirmed.
The movie will be based on the popular strategic game and anime series "Bakugan Battle Brawlers."
Scott Stuber is producing through his Universal-based Stuber Pictures along with Spin Master Ltd.'s Ronnen Harary. Jon Mone will serve as an executive producer for Stuber Pictures.
Executive vice president of production, Jeff Kirschenbaum and director of development Anikah McLaren will oversee the project for the studio.
