9/11 (ernstes Drama mit Charlie Sheen!)

Hollywood has never been shy about exploiting disasters, be they caused by man or nature, but even fifteen years after the events of 9/11, there's still a certain amount of trepidation felt when it comes to movies centered around that tragic day. If there's one person who can be counted upon to lend credibility and thoughtfulness to a film about 9/11, it's just got to be Charlie Sheen. Right?

Based on Patrick Carson’s stage play Elevator, which is itself adapted from actual events, the upcoming Martin Guigui film stars Charlie Sheen as one of five passengers trapped inside an elevator in the North Tower. After two terrorist-hijacked planes strike the World Trade Center, these five strangers must fight against all odds to escape before the unthinkable happens. Check out the recently released trailer for 9/11, which never stops trying to let you know that it's a serious drama.

Bleibt zu hoffen, dass da keine unfassbare Scheiße der Marke "World Trade Center" herumkommt.

Oh Gott, das fühlt sich die Hälfte der Zeit an wie eine völlig unpassende Parodie ^^

Hab mir mal den Trailer angesehen... Das machen also abgehalfterte Ex-Stars, nachdem sie sich aus ihren Serien-Comebacks fortgekokst haben und dringend Knete brauchen: Sie drehen Betroffenheitspisse über eine Katastrophe, welche die Filmwelt schon vor ca. 10 Jahren gänzlich bearbeitet hat und bringen den Schmonzes kurz vor dem Jahrestag des Unglücks ins Kino. Das hier sieht ja noch scheißer aus als "World Trade Center", scheint aber immerhin ähnlich viel unfreiwilliges Comedy-Potential zu besitzen. Tut mir nur leid für Goldberg und Gershon.
