But the impenetrable web of pure greed that is claiming countless young people's lives is widening: the deeper Layne, Beatty, and Ty dig into the filthy drug swamp, the more they realize that the cartels have the younger generation on their radar for their dirty dealings. Based on his own experiences, which director John Swab (Candy Land) incorporated into his directing and screenwriting, this raw and realistic portrayal of the ongoing fentanyl problem in the United States was created.
