Hört sich ein bissl nach "Mann unter Feuer" an.

The Expendables-Countdown
The Expendables-Countdown
Quelle: aintitcool.comApparently there are a lot of rumors out there about the next RAMBO, some of which have been floated by the Trades - but the reality is quite a bit different. It does involve Rambo back in the United States. But from what Sly told me, it is structured quite a bit different.
You see, it is set in the Pacific Northwest. Back in the general area where we first were introduced to John. It seems that somewhere in that Area there is a U.S. Military installation that is doing experiments on elite soldiers as part of some sort of program where they're attempting to tap into that SAVAGERY that we have deeply embedded into us. The plan is create brilliantly instinctual killer soldiers that have no qualms about taking life. Sly brought up the ancient Immortals, which were cartoonishly glimpsed in 300. In reality, they were children trained from the time they were infants to kill.
Well as happens with Government Experiments to create the perfect killer - it goes exceptionally well... and then exceptionally badly. And Rambo is brought in with a Black Ops squad ("Like in PREDATOR") to hunt, capture or kill this worse than Rambo killer.

Hier noch mal genauere Infos zur Story:
Quelle: comingsoon.netJohn Rambo could track anyone - or anything - on earth. Now the military desperately needs him for a mission that his ultrasensitive instincts tell him he should refuse. A beast is loose somewhere north of the Artic Circle. It has already decimated a secret research facility and annihilated a squad of elite military guards. And the raging creature is headed south toward civilization, ready to wreak bloody devastation.
It's a job that Rambo and his 22-year-old hunting partner, Beau Brady, can't turn down, but they and a team of highly-skilled special forces kill team discover that the prey is a terror beyond their wildest imagination - a half-human abomination created by a renegade agency through a series of outlawed genetic experiments. It has man's cunning, a predator's savageness, and a prehistoric power that has transcended the ages. And even if Rambo and Beau survive its unrelenting hunger for human blood, they'll still have to contront the grim reality that it may have grown immortal.
Rambo V Changes Direction
Source: StalloneZone, November 12, 2009
Sylvester Stallone has now told StalloneZone that they've changed their minds about Rambo V:
I'm letting you know that Rambo has changed course and the story about hunting the man/beast will be done using another character in the lead. RAMBO himself will be heading over the border to a violent city where many young women have vanished.
There will be blood.
The interesting thing is that that's the storyline the trades originally reported the project was going to go with. It was in August when the trades said the "storyline for the fifth film revolves around Rambo fighting his way through human traffickers and drug lords to rescue a young girl abducted near the U.S.-Mexico border."

Film wird wohl nicht gedreht werden... dafür wohl eine "Expendables"-Fortsetzung.
Sylvester Stallone Says Rambo is "Done"
Source: The Shiznit, May 1, 2010
We're not sure what has happened since last November (see here, here and here), but now Sylvester Stallone tells Empire magazine that another "Rambo" movie isn't happening after all.
"I think Rambo's pretty well done. I don't think there'll be any more. I'm about 99 per cent sure," he told the magazine in the latest issue.
So what will the almost 64-year-old actor concentrate on instead?
"We are very serious... we're already working on an [Expendables] sequel," he said.
