Als jemand von "Total Film" John Carpenter von dem Projekt berichtete - sein Kommentar dazu:

“Oh boy,” Carpenter says. “Well, good luck to him. It will probably be better.”

Fuller (u.a. TV´s "Hannibal") als Regisseur ist natürlich schonmal cool - findet übrigens auch Keith Gordon, Hauptdarsteller des Originals, der in der o.g. Situation neben Carpenter stand:

“I think he’s really talented, and a good person to do it.”
