After months of delays, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has at last announced a late-April Blu-ray release for 'Sin City.'

One of the most hotly-anticipated Blu-ray titles in Disney's library, 'Sin City' has seen numerous potential next-gen release dates over the past two years, only to routinely disappear from the studio's release slate.

Now, Dimension, via Disney, has confirmed to the trades that the smash Frank Miller-Robert Rodriguez-Quentin Tarantino collaboration will finally arrive on Blu-ray as a two-disc set April 21.

Making full use of Blu-ray's capabilities, Dimension will release both the theatrical and "recut" versions of the film, each receiving their own BD-50 dual-layer disc with 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video and English DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround audio.
