... the new series is described as “a new chapter” and is not expected to include Wentworth Miller’s Michael Scofield and Dominic Purcell’s Lincoln Burrows, who were the focus of the original series. Further details are currently being kept under wraps.

The forthcoming show will be written and executive produced by showrunner Elgin James, who co-created Mayans M.C. The upcoming Prison Break installment is James’ first project since the Sons of Anarchy spin-off, and he’ll be producing it under his Sierra Drive banner.
