Und ich könnte wetten, wenn ich jetzt, nach einem Jahr Pause, nochmal abonnieren würde, würde ich vielleicht drei neue Filme und eine neue Serienstaffel für mich finden.

Absolut. Hatte neulich nach einem Jahr Pause ein Dreimonats-Promoabo, wovon zwei Monate unnötig waren.

Aus genau dem Grund habe ich letztens sogar freiwillig auf 3 Monate gratis verzichtet. Ich dachte einfach, das lohnt sich nicht, weil es kaum für mich interessanten neuen Content gibt, und wollte lieber weiter abwarten, bis sich mehr angesammelt hat. Ich frage mich also, wie die mit dem Angebot genug Abonnenten zusammenbekommen, die die Motivation aufbringen, dafür monatlich so viel Geld zu bezahlen.

Von Mubi kam dieser Tage übrigens auch wieder eine Mail mit 70% Rabatt für 6 Monate (wären dann 4,20€ pro Monat).

Womöglich aus dem Grund, warum ein Iphone hat und hunderte Euro für Reparaturen bezahlt, weil defekte Teile nicht selbst austauschbar sind: Eine Art Lebensgefühl.
