Justin Lin soll lieber mal wieder was für Community machen. Wobei, die erste Folge für Staffel 6 soll von den Russo-Brüdern gedreht werden, das ist natürlich auch gut.

Mahershala Ali may have found his next act.

The Moonlight Oscar winner is in early discussions for a starring role in a potential third season of HBO anthology True Detective. A deal is far from done — and it remains unclear if there will actually be a third cycle of the franchise. HBO declined comment.

Stephen Dorff (Blade, Somewhere, Leatherface) opposite Mahershala Ali (Moonlight) and Carmen Ejogo (Selma) in the upcoming True Detective Season 3, according to Deadline. Dorff will play an Arkansas State Investigator named Roland West, the partner of Ali’s Wayne Hays.

True Detective Season 3 will tell the story of a macabre crime in the heart of the Ozarks and a mystery that deepens over decades and plays out in three separate time periods. Ejogo will play the female lead, Amelia Reardon, an Arkansas school teacher with a connection to two missing children in 1980. Ali stars as Wayne Hays, a state police detective from Northwest Arkansas.

Jeremy Saulnier (Blue Ruin, Green Room) will co-direct alongside series creator Nic Pizzolatto.

Ich mochte die ersten beiden Staffeln gern. Saulnier ist ein feiner Regisseur. Wird auf jeden Fall geschaut.

Auf jeden Fall! Habe mir gestern erst "Blue Ruin" angeschaut und bin nun umso gespannter auf diese Staffel.
