Resident Evil - Live Action Series (Netflix)

Netflix is developing a scripted series based on RESIDENT EVIL, and although the project is in the very early stages, Deadline has heard that while it will keep the basic premise of the franchise, it will also expand the universe and deepen the existing mythology. It's expected that the Resident Evil series will "explore the dark inner workings of the Umbrella Corporation and the new world order caused by the outbreak of the T-virus." Constantin Film, the studio behind the RESIDENT EVIL movies, is also involved in this potential series and the search is currently underway for a show-runner.
