Feeling better than ever after being diagnosed with Lymphoma in 2020, Bridges is back in fighting form for his first TV series in nearly 50 years. Based on the novel of the same name by Thomas Perry, The Old Man trailer features Bridges in a physically demanding role that proves just how far he’s come since beating the Big C.

The Old Man follows CIA operative Dan Chase (Bridges), a man forced to reconcile his past after an assassin makes it his mission to take him out. In addition to Bridges, the series also stars John Lithgow, Alia Shawkat, E.J. Bonilla, Gbenga Akinnagbe, and Amy Brenneman.

Bridges dachte sich wohl:
Hey, Neeson, Costner, Penn, Travolta und Co durften es auch... also will ich in meinem Alter auch mal so ne Action-reiche Rolle!

Schaut aber recht ordentlich aus.

Sehr gut. Fand Staffel 1 dufte.

Die ersten beiden Folgen waren toll, dann driftete es in von mir nicht näher beschreibbare Sphären ab. Die Rückblenden machten ebenfalls wenig Spaß!

Wurde nach 2 Staffeln nun abgesetzt.

OK. Dann brauch ich nach den ersten 20 Minuten der ersten Folge der 2. Staffel auch nicht mehr weiterschauen!
