Eight years later, the group has been destroyed by a shadowy organization called Manticore. Madden and Chopra Jonas play agents who are reunited and must attempt to piece together what happened and who they really are.

In Interviews haben die Russos und David Weil mehrfach betont, dass das Ganze wohl ein eigenes Serienuniversum mit landesspezifischen Ablegern werden soll. Als nächstes sollen aus Italien und Indien Serien kommen, die in der "Citadel"-Welt spielen. Ist natürlich ein Versuch Dinge wie das MCU oder das Monsterverse in den Serienbereich zu übertragen, aber klingt als Experiment nicht uninteressant.

Die Ausgangsserie hab ich allerdings (noch) nicht gesehen.

Amazon MGM is pushing the show from a planned fall 2025 release to a spring 2026 debut. Additionally, the continuation of all Citadel spinoff series are on hold, a least until the second season is released, if not indefinitely.
