Quelle: sundaysun.co.ukPaul may be enjoying being a dad, but he is already busy with plans for several films, including a return to his most popular franchise, Resident Evil.
He added: "I’m writing an adaptation of the Long Good Friday right now, set in present-day Miami. Then I will probably write Resident Evil 4."

The Expendables-Countdown
Paul Anderson wrote the screenplay but he is not coming back to direct.
The screenplay is more akin to RE2 in terms of style, but with better dialogue. The overall tone is also very dark.
There's enough hand to hand fights in the script for them to bring in a martial arts choreographer.
Patrick Tatopoulos (R3) will be in charge of the creature effects and they will have a new Special FX supervisor (in terms of the the practical effects) - Michael Lantieri (JURASSIC PARK 3)
The script is complete (they're at Draft 2)) and they're going to start casting before making any more script changes.
So far, they will be filming in Toronto and Tokyo. Toronto will actually front for Alaska.
They will be hiring a director once they have Milla officially signed back on.

Quelle: bloody-disgusting.comWhile Sony Screen Gems is prepping for Resident Evil 4: Afterlife, the 3D sequel slated to arrive in theaters August 27, 2010, Bloody Disgusting has learned exclusively (and confirmed) that the studio is already looking forward to the fifth film. While Milla Jovovich is confirmed for Afterlife, it's got to be getting expensive and (increasingly) difficult to keep her onboard, even though she is married to producer Paul W.S. Anderson. Instead of moving forward with the ongoing story, the studio is planning a quasi-reboot, which is tentatively titled Resident Evil Begins. While it's a long, long, long way off, the idea is to redo the story of a special military unit who fights a powerful, out-of-control supercomputer and hundreds of scientists who have mutated into flesh-eating creatures after a laboratory accident. What do you guys think about a reboot only 8-9 years after the franchise began?

Quelle: comingnsoon.netBoris Kodjoe, who stars in the upcoming Surrogates and was previously seen in Tyler Perry's Madea's Family Reunion, has joined Milla Jovovich in Screen Gems' Resident Evil: Afterlife. He revealed the casting on his Twitter account:
In Toronto meeting with the director of my new movie 'Resident Evil: Afterlife' Very exciting!!! Lots of stunts, shooting guns, monsters...
That director is Paul W.S. Anderson (who is married to Jovovich). Anderson directed the first film in the franchise and wrote and produced the other two.
Quelle: blackfilm.comWhat’s your role in "Resident Evil"?
Boris Kodjoe: I play the leader of the survivors in LA. Milla Jovovich’s character, Alice, is roaming the world looking for survivors and she’s wound up in LA, which has been burning for three years. She comes across an LA jail surrounded be these half-dead, uhh...
Zombies?
Boris Kodjoe: Yeah, they’re those monsters, what are they called? Anyway, she comes across the jail and there’s a couple of survivors and she lands on top of the roof and partners up with me to fight the guys that are coming after them. We’re trying to get all of the survivors out of the jail to safety. We’re starting next week, actually.
Where are you gonna be shooting at?
Boris Kodjoe: We’re shooting in Toronto.
Were you a fan of the franchise?
Boris Kodjoe: Yeah I saw the first one which I thought was interesting. I really adore and respect her, and also Paul W.S Anderson, who is the director. He’s married to her, and he’s a tremendous visionary, he’s got all these great ideas. What I like most about him is that he’s so excited about what he does. He really loves his job. That always goes a long way, because when you go to work with a smile on your face the outcome can only be positive. I love working with people who like what they do. He’s definitely one of those guys. He led me around the studio when I was out there to meet with them. He’s got it all worked out. He’s working with them making new cameras that James Cameron’s partner developed for "Avatar". All this stuff plays into this movie making it an experience I’m looking forward to.
With Milla back and Paul Anderson directing the movie do you know if any of the characters from the previous movies will be back as well?
Boris Kodjoe: It’s gonna be Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, I’m the new one, and Wentworth Miller is also in the movie. He's the lead in "Prison Break".
Is he another survivor?
Boris Kodjoe: Yes. He’s playing a guy that we actually locked up when we took over the jail because we weren’t sure if he was one of them or not. He comes into play as we try to find a way to get out with our survivors.
