Univision has announced plans for its El Rey Network, which is an English-language cable network targeting young-adult audiences

During Univision's presentation, the company revealed that El Rey's first original scripted TV series will be "From Dusk Till Dawn," based on the hit franchise by Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino. The show will be written, produced and directed by Rodriguez and will explore the characters from the original film.

We also know that the characters played by George Clooney and Quentin Tarantino will also return, and will be played by DJ Cotrona (GI Joe: Retaliation) and Zane Holtz (The Perks of Being a Wallflower). The role of Sheriff Earl McGraw, played by Michael Parks in the original movie, will now be played by Don Johnson.

Plot: A supernatural crime saga centered around bank robber, Seth Gecko (Cotrona) and his violent, unpredictable brother, Richard "Richie" Gecko (Holtz), who are wanted by the FBI and Texas Rangers Earl McGraw (Johnson) and Freddie Gonzalez (Jesse Garcia) after a bank heist left several people dead. While on an escape route to Mexico, Seth and Richie encounter former minister Jacob Fuller and his family who they take hostage. Using the family RV to make a run for the Mexican border, chaos ensues when the group detours to a strip club that is unknowingly populated by vampires, and forces them to fight until dawn in order to get out alive.

Einfach nur schlecht. Auf einem Level mit den Sequels, nur mit zusätzlicher Hasch Optik.

Da werden ja schön die ikonischen Szenen des Originals abgeklappert. Die Hauptdarsteller wirken wie für die Vampire Diaries Fans zusammengecastet und irgendwie sieht man da nix, was halbwegs interessant ausschaut. Vielleicht dürfen Don Johnson und Robert Patrick ja ein wenig rumrocken ...

Kollege meinte letztens er hat sie bei Netflix angefangen, die ersten zwei Folgen seien gar nicht so schlecht, eine Woche später meinte er "Wenn du doch mal die From Dusk till Dawn Serie gucken willst ... lass es!!!! So gut die ersten beiden Folgen auch waren so scheiße ist der Rest"

Hatte nach den ersten beiden Folgen aufgehört. Die ziehen echt die Story vom Film über die ganze Serie! Dazu ist die Deutsche Synchro unter aller sau!
