Deswegen mag ich auch "The Daily Show" so sehr.

Nuke: One of your earlier movies was the Steven Seagal movie Pistol Whipped. People who worked on his other movies have said that he tends to rewrite the scene as he’s shooting. Was that your experience?
Roel Reine: Not when it comes to scenes. No, he didn’t do that. He really shot the script and everything I wanted him to do. The only thing is when it came to a fight, he created the fight or changed the fight on the spot and he always made it much better. He was more changing things on action than on a script or scene level. He shot exactly what was scripted and what I wanted him to. It was a very easy experience, I must say. I had a very fun time working with him. It was a very smooth shoot and I think the finished movie is really good. It was so long ago. It was my first studio movie so it was a really nice entrance into the studio system.
Nuke: I didn’t mean that he was difficult. I meant that all his movies are so distinctly Steven Seagal, we celebrate the personal touch he brings to them.
Roel Reine: With me, he didn’t change it, but also he picks the scripts. I think a lot of times he picks the right script that he feels like is his genre. Also he writes a lot of screenplays, or he writes the story and then he has the writer write the screenplay. But I only have the experience of the one movie and it was a script that Sony bought and they attached Seagal to it and then attached me to it.
Quelle: manlymovie.netThis week, Sensei Seagal took some time out to shit on Liam Neeson. Seagal does not approve of what he interprets to be fake action stars getting all action-y on screen. “He can’t fight. He’s not an action movie guy at all and he’s getting action movies so that should tell you a lot”.
Seagal also mused on Neeson’s ‘warrior’ credentials: “He’s a great dramatic actor. Is he an action guy? No. Is he a great warrior, a great fighter? No. Let’s be honest”.
You know what’s funny here? Liam Neeson is a former boxing champion. The former Ulster Senior Amateur Champion, to be exact. If you watch both movies and boxing, you can pretty much pick this up in Liam’s mannerisms and movements from time to time. Seagal, on the other hand, is an alleged master of a fighting style that is only arguably 100% effective, with no record at all to speak of or show.

Eric Roberts slated to appear in over fifty film projects in 2015
At the age of 59, Eric Roberts is busier than he has ever been. The actor known for roles in everything from his Oscar-nominated role in RUNAWAY TRAIN to THE DARK KNIGHT and more recently on television series like Heroes, Justified, and Suits, has been overshadowed by his sister Julia and his daughter Emma. While Julia Roberts is one of the biggest stars in Hollywood and Emma Roberts is becoming bigger with each project, Eric Roberts has continued to work at a breakneck pace, potentially even a record-breaking one.
If you peruse Eric Roberts filmography on IMDb, you will notice his recent resume is chock full of everything from short films and TV work to features both independent and studio-financed. All in all, 2015 has amassed a total of fifty projects featuring Eric Roberts that have either been completed or are in production. Fifty. Five zero. And it is only May! You could look at that as a fluke, but Roberts appeared in forty-two completed films last year for a grand total of 92 in the last two years.
In comparison, Roberts took over three decades, from his first part in the 1964 television series Another World through the end of 1999, to amass a resume of one hundred acting role. Now, he is going to eclipse that in less than two years! Granted, the majority of these movies are direct to Redbox fare and shorts most people will never see, but it is pretty damn impressive that a guy nearing retirement age for most people is churning out more work than some actors achieve in a lifetime.

Statham:
Quelle: manlymovie.net“A lot of the modern action films I see, like the Marvel Comics sort of things, I just think that any guy could do it,” he told i400calci.
“I have no ambition [to star in one]. I could take my grandma, put her in a cape, put her on a green screen and have stunt doubles come in and do all the action. Anyone can do it.”
He added: “They’re relying on stunt doubles, and green screen, 200 million dollar budgets, all CGI created. To me, it’s not authentic. I’m inspired by old, real star guys that can really do their thing.”
...Yeah, Mate, that´s why I totally did "F7" - you know, a Low-Budget-Old-School-Action-Movie with no CGIs and scientificly proven realistic Action, where no Stunt Doubles were needed...SFI hat geschrieben:He added: “They’re relying on stunt doubles, and green screen, 200 million dollar budgets, all CGI created.
