Based on the novel “Last Looks,” the story follows a disgraced former LAPD detective, Charlie Waldo (Hunnam), who has decided to live a secluded life in the mountains – no doubt spending most of his days chopping wood. Soon, he is brought back into the crime-fighting business to investigate the murder of a TV star’s wife. Action and suspense ensues, and Waldo likely has a moment or two where he wishes he were back in the mountains chopping wood.
