Die neue Staffel wird ja überall abgefeiert, aber nach Sichtung der Trailer bin ich noch skeptisch. Ich habe da irgendwie null TNG-Feeling gesehen.

Die neue Staffel wird ja überall abgefeiert, aber nach Sichtung der Trailer bin ich noch skeptisch. Ich habe da irgendwie null TNG-Feeling gesehen.

Als grosser New Trek-Kritiker war ich gegenüber auch dieser Picard-Season mehr als nur skeptisch. Season 1 hatte gute Ansätze, ist aber storytechnisch verpufft wie ein Furz in der freien Luft. Season 2 war eine absolute Vollkatastrophe.

Season 3 hingegen fühlt sich an wie eine brandneue eigentständige Serie. Absoluter Fanservice ohne Ende, aber macht unheimlich Spass. Es ist toll die alten "Freunde" von früher wiederzusehen und auch die Story enttäuscht bislang (6 Folgen gesehen) nicht. Die aktelle Episode (The Bounty) ist sogar unfassbar gut. Aber, es hilft sicherlich, wenn man DS9 und auch Voyager zumindest etwas verfolgt hat, denn auch diese beiden Serien spielen in diese Staffel mithinein.

DS9 werde ich sicher bald mal antesten bzw. weiterschauen, den Pilotfilm fand ich nett, hat mich aber noch nicht vollends gepackt.

Und dann sind da bei der TNG-Crew noch die Kinofilme, die mir auch noch fehlen.

zu recht. Allerdings nicht unbedingt, weil sie herausragend ist, sondern weil Staffel 1 und 2 unterirdisch sind und Staffel 3 endlich das bietet, was man sich bei Staffel 1 schon erhoffte. Man merkt aber, dass der aktuelle Showrunner Ahnung hat und seinerzeit schon bei Enterprise und Voyager eine C-Funktion hatte.

DS9 braucht imo mindestens bis zur 3. Staffel, was seinerzeit auch die Autoren erkannten und die Defiant implementierten.

“I am gently pushing Paramount to let us do one single Picard movie,” Patrick Stewart wrote in Time. “Not a Next Generation movie, as we have already done four of those. This would be an expansion and deepening of the universe as we’ve seen it in Star Trek: Picard. I’ve discussed this with Jonathan [Frakes], Brent [Spiner], and LeVar [Burton], and they are all game.” Stewart added that if the Star Trek: Picard movie does happen, “Jonathan is my first choice to direct it.“

Film kommt wohl. Stewart:

“I heard only last night about a script that is being written, but written specifically with the actor, Patrick [Stewart], to play in it,” Stewart said. “And I’ve been told to expect to receive it within a week or so. I’m so excited because it sounds like the kind of project where the experimentation that I want to do will be essential for this kind of material.” When asked if the movie would be a little bit of a different take to what we saw in the three seasons of Star Trek: Picard, Stewart replied, “Yeah.“
