Quelle: joblo.comBased on the Dark Horse comic book series of the same name written by Peter Hogan with art by Steve Parkhouse, the story revolves around Harry, an alien who, after crash landing on Earth, adopts the identity of an elderly doctor who dies in an unrelated car crash. Using his telepathic abilities, Harry is able trick most humans into thinking he's an ordinary citizen. Years into his residency, he's contacted by the mayor of his city, and is asked to serve as a stand-in for a fellow practitioner who'd been murdered. As the investigation continues, Harry finds that he's become fascinated by the humans, which creates a moral dilemma between his mission and a gut feeling that humankind might be worth saving.

Würde jetzt schon von der Bude erwarten, dass man bei derzeit zwei verfügbaren Staffeln auch beide bringt. Hatte mit der ersten Staffel seinerzeit auf Sky angefangen (fand sie gut), aber sie war dann verschwunden, so dass ich schon gerne mal weitergucken würde.

Kann ich mir gut vorstellen. Bei "Yellowstone" haben sie ja auch direkt drei Staffeln lizenziert.

Netflix hat übrigens (vorerst?) nur die erste Staffel im Programm. Wir haben am Wochenende angefangen und bisher zwei Folgen gesehen. Ist recht vergnüglich.

Ich kenne nur eine Handvoll Folgen "Dr. House", aber so kann man das nicht sagen. Das Resident Alien agiert zwar auch befremdlich und vor den Kopf stoßend, aber nicht so sarkastisch. Außerdem kann ich mich nicht daran erinnern, dass Dr. House
