TracklistSteven Wilson’s eighth album The Overview explored the depths, distances, and desolation of deep space, follow up Requiem for a Village narrows its focus to a tiny, unknown corner of the British Isles that exists beyond time and place.
In imagining a realm entirely divorced from modernity, Wilson adopted an unorthodox recording approach. Eschewing AI and corrective studio technologies, he turned to organic instrumentation (whether pristine or imperfect), embracing mistakes to see where they might lead. Recorded with regular collaborator and multi-instrumentalist Randy McStine and drummer Russell Holzman, the album is intimate, ambitious, richly imaginative, and knowingly eccentric, featuring a compelling narration written by Andy Partridge and voiced by David Tennant.

Zudem gibt es noch Alternative CD Cover bei HMV, bei amazon UK soll es signierte CDs geben (wobei ich mir ziemlich sicher bin das die eine EU Sperre haben - d.h. nur in UK verkauft werden dürfen)
Burning Shed
Seit heute gibt es diese Live Session vom Album - es klingt wieder wie der alte Wilson, etwas Krautrockig sogar, ziemlich noisy und irgendwie erinnert mich das ganze an Porcupine Tree in frühen Jahren. Mir gefällt das , bin diesmal wieder etwas Optimistischer was die Arbeit von Wilson angeht
).
