Quelle: THR.comABC's plan to reboot "Charlie's Angels" is getting a lift from a superpowered writing team.
Former " Smallville" executive producers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar are taking over scripting duties on the Sony Pictures Television project, which the network is developing for a potential pilot order and midseason launch.
The duo, whose theatrical credits include "Shanghai Noon" and " The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor," will replace Josh Friedman, who initially was hired to adapt the project. Gough and Millar launched "Smallville" and ran it for seven seasons before exiting the show in 2008.
The rest of the "Angels" team remains unchanged, which includes the producers of the two "Charlie's Angels" movies: Drew Barrymore, Leonard Goldberg and Nancy Juvonen. Goldberg exec produced the original 1976-81 series.

This move has been long expected, but now the project is firmly moving forward, along with Smallville writer-producers Miles Millar and Al Gough. The new modern-day version of the show will be set in Miami.
The producers (Leonard Goldberg, Drew Barrymore, Nancy Juvonen), Sony Pictures TV and Flower Films will now dive into casting to figure out the tricky task of finding TV’s new Angels. We hear there’s an offer out to Mark Piznarski (Gossip Girl) to direct.
Remakes have traditionally struggled to find viewers on broadcast, though CBS’ showed with Hawaii Five-0 that you can pull off a primetime hit with a classic title. And Angels is certainly on-brand for a network that has a strong female following with shows like Grey’s Anatomy and Desperate Housewives.

The Friday Night Lights alumna and the Transformers babe are in negotiations for the remaining two Angel spots in ABC's Charlie's Angels pilot. They would join previously cast Annie Ilonzeh to form the new trio of sexy female sleuths - Kelly, whose character will be renamed, Ilonzeh's Kate and Taylor's Abby.
Mädels und Action im Trailer gefallen mir besser als in den Filmen. Ich denke, einen Blick riskiere ich, wenns soweit ist

erste Folge mal so nebenbei versucht zu schauen...hier wird das Style over Substance komplett auf die Spitze getrieben, irgendwie war - zumindest die erste Folge - komplett fürn Arsch, selbst die Mädels waren nichts wirklich Besonderes, scheinen auch alles no-names zu sein...

Also isse offenbar nicht nur in Brasilien angesiedelt, sondern auch eine brasilianische Serie.
