Em-Rob ist schon Grund allein, den Film zu schauen - und dann noch die andere Emma (Stone), die dank "Easy A" nun auch ihren verdienten Star-Status erreicht hat ... fein, fein! Garfield ist ebenfalls eine wirklich gute Wahl - und dass er in einem der Oscar-Abräumer des nächsten Jahres eine tragende Rolle spielt (sprich: "the Social Nertwork"), ist auch schonmal ne solide Grundlage. 
Edit: Gerade gelesen, dass die genannten Damen sich noch in Konkurrenz um die weibliche Hauptrolle befinden...

Rhys Ifans (Notting Hill) will play the villain, opposite Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker and Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, in the next installment of Spider-Man from Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios, it was announced today by Amy Pascal, co-chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment and Matt Tolmach, president of Columbia Pictures. The film, to be directed by Marc Webb from a screenplay by James Vanderbilt and produced by Avi Arad and Laura Ziskin, will begin production in December and will be released in theaters nationwide in 3D on July 3, 2012.
Commenting on the announcement, Tolmach said, "We have been very fortunate to attract some of the best actors working today to play the villains in the Spider-Man movies, and it is exciting to see that trend continue with Rhys Ifans. After seeing his performance in our upcoming film 'Anonymous,' we're in awe of his talent and think he's the perfect choice to take on this role."
The filmmakers prefer to not reveal which character Ifans will be playing in the forthcoming film.
Webb added, "What sets the Spider-Man villains apart is the complexity of their relationships with Peter Parker. Rhys' incredible ability to embody both warmth and rage makes him the ideal choice for this character."

The movie, under the direction of Marc Webb and starring Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, begins production this month in Los Angeles and is in the latter stages of its casting process.
Scott and Nicholson (Law & Order: Criminal Intent) will be Parker’s parents, who leave their son an orphan. Parker’s parents have rarely been seen in the various Marvel comic book series and have never appeared on-screen. It is unclear if they will appear in flashbacks, in a prologue or during the course of the movie.
Khan, best known for his work in Slumdog Millionaire, is playing a villain named Van Atter, joining Rhys Ifans as the movie’s bad guys.
Parisse, who appeared most recently in couple of episodes of AMC’s Rubicon, will be the villain’s wife

Ok, das Mädel passt gut zu Gwen Stacey. Aber der Typ soll Parker sein? Och gottchen...
Maguire hatte wenigstens etwas trainiert und konnte noch punkten mit Sympathie und auch mal etwas härter wirken. Dieser Junge sieht ja nur noch nach Milchbubie aus.

oh man ich glaub ich bin echt nicht auf dem laufenden und zu faul zum nachlesen, aber ich dachte dieser zack afron sollte der neue peter parker werden...der sah dem ja etwas ähnlicher, aber der jetzige ist ja mal echt ne brutale pattinson kopie...warum haben die nicht glaub robert pattinson selber die Rolle gegeben?
Ach ne Quatsch, der Pattinson ist bestimmt schon verbucht, weil er als neuer Batman in Frage kommt
das neue Spiderman Franchise wird mächtig sucken...wenn die produzenten auch nur irgendwie das Ruder noch rumreisen, nicht aber auf die jetzige hauptdarsteller wahl verzichten wollen, sollten die diesem zumindest gehörig die Haare schneiden >.<
Einen vierten Teil mit dem alten Cast hätte ich btw zwar spaßig gefunden und mir auf jeden Fall angesehen, aber dennoch hätte man damit die Franchise in den Tod geritten; nicht weil der dritte Teil so "schlecht" war (den ich btw auch noch sehr mag trotz einiger schwächen), sondern weil es einfach nichts mehr zu erzählen gibt.
Was wollen die noch in der beziehung zwischen parker und watson erzählen? Am ende ist sie wieder irgendwo gefangen und spiderman rettet sie zum drölfzigsten male aus der gefahr während sie wild kreischt. Das wäre irgendwann ins lächerliche abgedriftet.
Da müssen die Produzenten echt neue Impulse setzen...aber mit so einem neuen hauptdarsteller? nä!!!!
